Are you an educator or youth group leader excited about innovative science programs?

If so, Ramapo’s Environmental Education Experiences are right for you!

Ramapo’s newest initiative uses outdoor, teambuilding activities to teach environmental education concepts which support the New York State Living Environment curriculum. By combining environmental education experiences with team-building activities and initiatives, children will develop an appreciation for the world around them and skills that facilitate working together to find solutions to environmental issues.

Nick Buckley is the Director of Ramapo’s Environmental Education Experiences and has been a member of the staff since 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Resource from Lyndon State College and has worked as an outdoor instructor at Camp Highland Outdoor Science School in Southern California and Betsy Jeff-Penn Educational Center in North Carolina. His expertise is in leading hikes and hands-on environmental education activities which encourage communication and teambuilding.
