Facilities & Grounds

Camp Ramapo is located on 250 wooded lakefront acres in Rhinebeck, NY.  The campus is carefully constructed and landscaped to meet the needs of all our program participants.  Over the past 15 years, we have completely renovated all 55 existing buildings on the campus, creating spacious cabins that all provide electricity and are equipped with full bathroom facilities.  In addition to these renovations, Ramapo has added many new buildings and activity areas, including: an 11,000 square foot Gym and Recreation Center that features a state-of-the-art indoor high- and low-ropes challenge course; a new Dining Hall with seating for 500 people; several year-round winterized lodges; an outdoor all-camp amphitheater with seating for 400 people; two large playgrounds; several activity areas for basketball, volleyball, baseball and miniature golf; over five miles of hiking trails including a 1.1 mile self-guided environmental education trail; a zero-grade swimming pool; and an extensive outdoor high- and low-ropes challenge course, which includes a 40-foot climbing wall and a 4-person 3-level “Family Circle Tower.”
