Located on 250 wooded acres in Rhinebeck NY, Ramapo provides adventure-based, experiential learning programs that promote positive character values, build social and learning competencies, and enhance self-esteem.

Our Approach

Ramapo uses outdoor, adventure-based activities to teach relationship building skills such as collaboration, cooperation, leadership, and conflict resolution. Our programs are dynamic and designed to promote concern for others, personal responsibility, open and honest communication, acceptance of help, and most importantly - a commitment to do one's best. In addition, Ramapo operates under the principle of "challenge with choice." In accordance with this principle, group members are expected to participate in all activities and continually challenge themselves to the greatest degree possible.
